Jonathan Jackson
Jonathan Jackson was born in Washington DC and raised in Northern Virginia. He started working for Virginia State Parks in 2008 as a Maintenance Ranger at Leesylvania State Park. Jonathan attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management.
During college years, he worked as the Assistant Audio/Visual Coordinator at Virginia Union University in 2009 & 2010 and remained working at Leesylvania as a seasonal maintenance employee. In 2012, he stayed on year round as a 1500 hour employee working in each of the departments as needed (Maintenance, Store, Contact Station, and Office). Upon graduating, he was working as the assistant store manager at the Breakwater Marina at Leesylvania and was promoted the following year to Business Manager. Jonathan was promoted in December 2014 to Program Support Technician at High Bridge Trail State Park.
